Dechra Supports Worldwide Veterinary Service
Dechra Veterinary Products is continuing to support Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) by donating a range of products to be used by the charity.
Dechra has been supporting WVS for the past couple of years and last year provided products to the value of around £14,500. Dechra gives the charity short dated stock, products it no longer requires, instruments and consumables and low cost items, such as lubricants.
Founded by vet Luke Gamble, WVS supports animal charities and non-profit organisations all over the world by providing them with volunteers, veterinary drugs, equipment and advice. Working with local communities, it aims to promote and produce long-term sustainable projects, for the benefit of local animal and human populations.
Commenting on Dechra’s latest donation, Luke Gamble, Chief Executive of WVS, says: “The generosity of companies, like Dechra, that produce veterinary products is invaluable to us. Over the years it has supported us, Dechra has provided a host of items that have all been put to good use.”
Lorane Scott, European Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Co-ordinator at Dechra, says: “It is great that our products can be used to support such worthwhile causes around the world and improve the welfare of animals.”
