Dechra Appoints New Regional Business Manager

Dechra Veterinary Products has strengthened its team in the Midlands with the appointment of new Regional Business Manager, Katie Wray.

Ms Wray, 41, of Nottingham, has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years. She joins the company as it looks to increase its support of veterinary professionals in the central part of the UK.

Dechra Veterinary Products' UK and Ireland Country Manager Bob Parmenter said: “We are delighted to appoint Katie as our Regional Business Manager.

“Her blend and depth of experience, as well as her genuine passion for animals, will be an asset to us as we continue to develop our support of vets and vet nurses in the UK and Ireland, through the development of services, brands and products.”

Ms Wray, a dressage competitor in her spare time, said: “I've worked in both the human and animal health side of pharmaceuticals, including for a major international animal health company.

“I am delighted to be joining Dechra at such an exciting time. There has been so much positive change within the company and I am proud to have been given the opportunity to help shape the future success of the Midlands region.

“We are all operating in a tough environment but I am confident we will deliver the focus required in order to realise the true potential of the business.”
